Posta indesiderata in Outlook 2007
Buongiorno, ho un outlook 2007 SP3 che da una settimama non mantiene più il filtro della posta indesiderata.
In pratica se all' interno della gestione della posta indesiderata attivo il filtro "ALTA" questo resta attivo solo finchè outlook resta aperto.
Quando lo chiudo alla riapertura del programma il filtro è distattivato

Can´t connect
Hey, wanna ask for help. Yesterday I just turn on my laptot and it can´t connect to internet. It just identifying really long and then it says that the connection is limited and when i try to use internet it says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET. But I can use internet on the second laptop, also on mobile. I tryed to turn off firewall, I also tryed to write netsh winsock reset. Do you have any ideas how to get it work? Thanks for answers

Hi, I just solved a similar issue by disabling and enabling the network adapter.
Another option is to check if your IP settings are correctly set or your DHCP is not having limited scope.

Active Directory Stack trace

When running a below AD command, getting stack trace at some point.
Command : Import-Module ActiveDirectory; Get-AdUser $User -Server $Domain;
Most of the time, it is working as expected. But at times it gives the stack trace error:

Manage Portfolios with PWA 2013
We are looking to use project server 2013 for resource and project portfolio management. We are a Telecom Organization of approximately 600 -800.
We would like to do the following :
1- Manage several projects from several Departments of our organization and getting reports
2- Monitor Projects scheduling and Departments planning both together and separately
3- Add weights and priority to projects for having some special reports
I would be grateful to have both comments and experience about above works, can we use portfolio analysis? In general, I mean, is that correct to use portfolio analysis? if not, what should we do?

Indeed Project Server 2013 does allow to do portfolio management defining business drivers and ranking the projects in given portfolio. Since there is a lot of to say on this subject, I suggest you to read this white paper (for 2010 but still applicable for 2013).
I also suggest you to contact the closest Project Server consultant firm so you can have a dedicated presentation and demo about the solution capabilities.

I want to discuss below points to know what is the best that can be done.
In my environment, I have below servers:
- ROOT-CA: is offline Standalone Root CA, CRL/AIA are published Locally and to http://Respond-01/, in AIA I have configured the path for online responding to: http://Respond-01/ocsp
- Respond-01: is online server with IIS and ONline Responding Service Role
- Subordinate-01: is online CA Issuing Server, configured with default LDAP CRL/AIA publishing, and with online responding URL to: http://Respond-01/ocsp
I want to disucss below:
- Shall I configure Subordinate-01 CRL and AIA to be published to Respond-01? is there any need or best practice that ask for this?
- My online respond server OCSP certificate is trusted by the Root CA, shall I change the certificate to be trusted by Subordinate? is there any best practice for this point?

Windows Server Registry
If you could only backup one registry tree (not an entire hive) which would you back up? and why?
If you could be selective within that tree, what sub-tree's would you back up? and why?
I'm inclined to say that HKLM/SYSTEM is more important than most, and perhaps specifically HKLM/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet. Most of the server settings seem to be located in that tree somewhere, so to me that stands out as something I would want to capture.

Moody’s: XL Increased 10%
Moody's Investors Services, one of the most trusted companies that provides comprehensive credit rating and research covering debt instruments and securities, released a full year report on PT XL Axiata Tbk, a sister company of Axis Capital Group, one of the biggest telecommunications company with subsidiaries around Asia. Moody's reviews show that Axiata is broadly in line with their expectation and support XL's Ba1 corporate family rating and stable outlook, despite its elevated leverage.
Reported revenue has increased to 10% to IDR23.6 million for 2014 with an expected continued growth and development. Growth in data and value-added services supported by marginal growth in voice and SMS are some of the factors that helped the increase.
Smart phones penetration also increased by 127% year-on-year and the data usage in all media has also increased. However though, data prices continue to lag. There are no increase data prices over the years because of the complaints of uneven distribution of data among site locations. This factor is the reason why there is a 4% decline in blended average revenue per user.
Moody's expects margins to contract slightly in the end of 2015 owing to lower revenues from XL's higher margin tower leasing operations post sale of 3,500 towers to Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk.
While XL's elevated leverage is not in line with its Ba1 rating given by Moody's, this increase will be transient as we expect the company will use a majority of the proceeds from its IDR5.6 trillion sale of 3,500 towers to Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (STP, unrated) in December to pay down debt.
Management has maintained capex guidance of about IDR7 trillion for 2015, broadly in line with capex of IDR7 trillion in 2014 and IDR7.4 trillion in 2013. This continuing trend of declining capex to revenue is in line with Moody's expectations as the company has substantially completed its 3G network infrastructure, and has started enjoying some of the capex savings following its Axis acquisition, particularly spending to support its 2G network infrastructure. The emergence of 4G networking, first tested in Jakarta, Indonesia has also been helpful in the continues development of XL.
Additionally, XL's recent tower sale to STP is credit positive for XL as it allows the company to monetize its non-core tower assets to improve its liquidity. Furthermore, the sale and leaseback terms are quite favorable for XL, and will help to boost the company's cash flows and future operating profits. The fixed lease rental at IDR10 million per month is significantly lower than the current market average, and there are no separate service fees or inflation escalator. Such favorable deal terms are unprecedented in the Indonesian tower sector.
fbl_impressive Core 10061 - Error 0xc1900107
I'm using Fast Ring for my updates and have received notice that build 10061 is available for update (from 10049). When I go to the update settings I have the above error - when clicking on retry my status bar will go to 50% and then error with the above. I have tried rebooting, leaving the computer off overnight and holding my mouth in different positions without anything working.
I am also getting an error while it's trying to update my NVidia GeForce driver; NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G - Error 0x80070103 (this was the 1st error which never cleared itself).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Open a Command Prompt (Run as Administrator)
2. Type: cd %windir% and press the Enter key.
3. Type: net stop wuauserv and press the Enter key
4. Type: ren softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.old and press the Enter key.
5. [ Note: if you get an error message, ignore and type the above again and press Enter ]
6. Type: net start wuauserv and press the Enter key.
7. Type: Exit and press Enter, then go back and check for Windows Updates again.

Hi,
I am having the same problem as djOzzy59. I tried what you suggested above and it isn't working for me. I have also tried stopping WU through the management console, disabling it deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder re-enabling and re-starting WU and then down loading the update again (through WU). I get the same error again.
Is there something else I could try?

I too had this problem on one machine (another was successfully updated without any problems). Try deleting your c:\$Windows.~BT folder. If you have problems like I did deleting that folder, one of the suggestions I read elsewhere online was to take ownership of the folder first. FYI, that did nothing for me, so the next best alternative was to remove the drive, connect it as a portable drive (using a spare usb 3.0 enclosure I had), then deleting the $Windows.~BT folder.
I popped the drive back into the system and tried running windows update again, and voila--updated correctly. I suspected something was wrong/corrupt with that folder because it was only 595MB, when I knew that in previous Win 10 builds, that folder was over 2.50GB. This folder was also missing many of the folders/files that should be present in order to create/convert esd to ISO.
Hope this helps--this was a particularly nagging issue for me since 10049 had upgrade problems for me as well on some machines but not on others.

Have the same problem as djOzzy59 exactly. Tried both fixes by ZigZag3143x and byunnbi with no joy. After several attempts, and then a reboot, reran Win Update and download seemed normal but as soon as the install started, the Updates window closed by itself. When opening again it shows the same error message. On a side not for byunnbi, the $Windows.~BT and Windows.old files can be removed using Disk Cleanup. Anyway, I've put the problem on hold hoping for other ideas.
Anything else I might try?
OK. I found a solution that seems to have worked for me. The error indicates that Windows Update fails because it is trying to install the same driver that already exists. In my case, I already had the latest driver version installed. I closed windows update, went into Device Manger and removed the NVIDIA GeForce Display Adapter (also, I selected to completely remove the existing driver). After this, I scanned for hardware changes and Windows installed a generic display adapter. I then ran Windows Update (no errors). After a reboot, the system discovered the NVIDIA GeForce display adapter and installed the proper driver again. I then ran Windows Update again, no errors, everything up to date. I hope this helps someone else.

Window 10 and random STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION on file writes
We have WDF driver that writes messages to the text file located at the system volume information folder by the WdfRequestSend. In the complition routine the WdfRequestGetStatus returns me RANDOMLY STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION error code. In most cases writes succeed. The driver is tested on thouthands of envs and problem exists only in Windows 10. What can be the reason of problem? How to get support on this from MS?

ADFS/ Workplace join issue
Hi,
I have set up a test 2012R2 environment which is as follows:
DC1.example.local: 192.168.2.90 (2012R2)
xyz-adfs.example.local: 192.168.2.150 (2012R2)
proxy.example.local : 192.168.2.160 (2012R2)
fileserver.example.local 192.168.2.114 (2012R2)
The AD domain is example.local and the external domain is example.net. I ahve a wildcard cert for *.example.net that I am using.
The ADFS service name is exampleadfs.
I've set this up using the guide at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn747208.aspx
My DNS entries are:
Internal DNS:
example.net (Forward Zone)> workfolders.example.net pointing to 192.168.2.114, exampleadfs.example.net pointing to 192.168.2.150, enterpriseregistration.example.net pointing to 192.168.2.150.
External DNS: workfolders.example.net, exampleadfs.example.net and enterpriseregistration.example.net all point to the WAN IP.
The intent was to get work folders working for domain and non domain joined devices, inside and outside the LAN.
This works fine internally and externally. The only issue is that as the authentication token expires after 8 hours, users have to re-enter their passwords which is not ideal. according to this : http://blogs.technet.com/b/filecab/archive/2014/07/07/using-adfs-authentication-for-work-folders.aspx if I workspace join the devices in question, the token expiration period becomes 7 days by default and can be adjusted. This is where my problem comes in. Workplace join does not work correctly.
1) On the client, I can see event id 102, source Workplace Join : Error code 0x80072EFD. a connection to the server could not be established. Could not connect to https://EnterpriseRegistration.example.local:443/Enrollmentserver/Contract.. Is there any way to get the client to connect to the external URL, example.net instead of example.local?
2) Similarly, when running Enable-AdfsDeviceRegistration on the ADFS server, I got : 'Warning: The SSL certificate does not contain all the UPN suffix values that exist in the enterprise. Users with UPN suffix values not represented in the certificate will not be able to Workplace-Join their devices'. As the client uses .local in their AD domain, I cannot get a third party SAN that will include that. Is there any way i can get this working with only the third party wildcard cert or do I have to install a local certificate server?

About the error 102, this problem occurs because the 2012 R2 Active Directory Federation Server (AD FS) service is not running.

The ADSF service was started. I wound up uninstalling and reintalling ADFS, Web app proxy and Workfolders. This time around, I created a UPN for the external domain example.net. It seems to be correctly working for domain joined and non domain joined windows 8.1 pcs in that I can join them to the workplace.
One thing I did notice was that now, when I access https://exampleadfs.example.net/adfs/ls/idpinitiatedsignon.htm
from the ADFS server itself, I get a windows security prompt asking me to confirm a certificate for MS-Organization-Access. Clicking ok takes me to the ADFS sign in page. This only happens on the ADFS server and not the clients where I do not get this prompt. Is this normal behavior?
Additionally, how would I change the default authentication token timeout period from 7 days? The blog (http://blogs.technet.com/b/filecab/archive/2014/07/07/using-adfs-authentication-for-work-folders.aspx ) mentions you can do it but now how.

Hi,
As the blog mentioned, with a valid refresh token, user doesn't need to be prompt for credentials, Work Folders client will take the refresh token and authenticate with the ADFS server to get the access token. This is for work folder client.
Additionally, how would I change the default authentication token timeout period from 7 days?
I did not find MS article describe how to configure this value, i would suggest you ask in ADFS forums for technical support:

It looks like you are creating a class library project which needs a start up project to be set up. In your 4 project-solution, follow the given options,
- Select the project which has an executable file. Console or other similar applications would do so.
- Right click on the project.
- Set it as Start up project.
Now the project would be set to start up project. When you would debug it (Start) it would run this project as main entry program.

Don't know if somebody reads this, but it may help others :)
If you have a standard PC (no laptop) try putting 2 jumpers on the motherboard's left & right output of Front Panel Audio Connector. The jumper settings should be in your motherboard's manual. That helped me for an Asus A8N-E board. I had the same problem.

First, these are well documented on TechNet at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427342.aspx
Second, these are *not* located in \Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs. The list above is for client side logs. Many server side logs are located in \Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs but not all are and client side logs are located in \windows\ccm\logs by default.

Capturing and tracking Issues related to Project tasks in MS Projects
I am currently working with a client on a Project management process improvement initiative.
The client is a project management firm providing outsourced project management services for mostly construction related projects. They exploring the possibility of automating their project reporting activities using MS Project.
One of the key requirements is to be able to Track Task related issues within MS Project:
Issues relating to a particular task could extend for weeks, they want to be able to enter update on the particular issue on a weekly basis and have each update saved within MS Project database for future tracking and record keeping.
I would appreciate contributions from any one who as ever worked on any Project customization initiative such as this as well as any recommendations as to alternative solutions to achieve this requirement.

If the main goal is to keep a running narrative of issues for each task, the Notes field is ready made for that type of information. If you need to track other types of information, more insight on exactly what that information is, would help us make a recommendation. For example, Project has several fields designed to track progress/changes to the original plan.
If you are considering Project Server, I believe there is even more functionality for reporting, but since I don't use Project Server I'll let someone else expand on that.

Just to add on to John's response, if you have Project Server, then the Project Site already has inbuilt list for Issue Tracking.
If you do not have Project Server, you could
1) create a issue tracker template in Excel, that can be used by each project
2) Place the issue tracker for the project in a shared location like a network drive
3) Use the "HYPERLINK" field in MS Project, to link to the Excel File.
There are several other ways, dpeneding upon the collabaration tools you have in place, but this is what comes to mind right now.

If they have a SharePoint team site available, then you could use Project Pro synced to a Task List. The Issue list could then use a lookup field to link to the SharePoint task on the site itself. Not sure if this would meet your needs but it could work in certain context.

Excel 2013 - Undo PivotChart changes connected to Powerpivot Datamodel is cutting off datasource name last digit when have more than 10 charts
Can you confirm its a bug in Excel 2013?
- Create some tables and add them to the data model (powerpivot).
- Create more than 10 PivotCharts connecting directly to the powerpivot (ThisWorkBookDataModel)
- Go to the last Chart created that is connected to the Datamodel (i.e Datasource = PivotChartTable10)
- Add or remove any field
- Click UNDO or CTRL-Z
- Right click the Chart you changed->Select Data and check the "Chart Data Range". You will see that the Data Source changed from:
PivotChartTable10
to
PivotChartTable1
I tried that on larger sheet and got same results. i.e changed a chart that was linked to PivotChartTable55 and it renamed to PivotChartTable5 breaking all the fields.

Identifying files from 10 of the same camera
Hello,
I am a huge novice when it comes to scripts or id.txt files.
I am trying to create a script that can uniquely I.D. all cameras even though they are the same.
Is there some sort of script I can write to an S.D. card so that when I import photos from the camera to the USB, the computer automatically knows which camera is which.
This way it would prevent duplications and errors from occurring.

Just put names on your SD cards.
Each photo is also tagged with the camera ID. You can use almost any photo editing/managing tool to see the tags, sort filter, etc.
Scripting is not the answer here.
Not that nearly all cameras can be set to add a prefix to all photos. You can set each camera differently.
If you post your issues in a digital camera forum others there will show you how to use a digital camera effectively.

I am trying to import all of the files into the same folder, which populate as a specific subfolder with the unique I.D . Essentially I want to transfer all photos from each camera and it automatically names the folders for each camera.
Also the camera ID is encrypted. There is no unique i.d. on the EXIF information.

Then set the camera to generate a camera specific folder name. Post questions about how to do this in the forum for you camera. For Nikon 3200-5700 it is on the setup menu.
We usually have two choices. A specific name or a date.
Nikon allows 5 characters and then names all folders as 100CAM01,101CAM01,102CAM1 up to 999CAM01,
You can set the 5 digits. and all current folders will be renamed on the SD card. Most cameras follow similar conventions. My SONY
Folders on very old cameras may not be able to be renamed.

I tried that folder option and it automatically defaults back to 100NIKON if I change it anywhere from 100-999NIKON.
If I can write something to the SD card so that when I plug the camera into the computer, it automatically recognizes that SD as a specific I.D. and automatically transfers the images to a specific folder.
