Duplicate on the domain
Hi
After the mix up (disk swap) the other computer1 is now installed again with it's real name,
and the computer2 has been dropped off domain and rejoined back,
but is it necessary to decrypt the computer2 bitlocker and clear TPM / encrypt the drive again to make sure the keys are ok ?

IE10 for Win7 RTM
Reply:
Hi Rob,
Yes it was a Painful download but I did finally get it done,
Very odd used a link provided by Firedog on Answers :)
Download seemed to work okay/ never confirmed to boot to install ?
Looked through installed updates nada,
Unpinned ie from taskbar,
Shut down machine and repeated looking for it nada,
Reset ie9 deleted personal settings...Open from all programs 32 bit version/ still had two listings,
opened and got ie9 has been upgraded message/ Clicked on the Home button/ go to msn,
Msn had a message at the top of the page to upgrade to ie10 went ahead and used it.
Was a very slow install thought it froze looking for and installing needed updates and kicked over to the language pack install/ finally the shut down to finish install wow.
I can imagine why there will be so many errors and confusion about downloading this,
Not a walk in the park but was interesting to say the least :)

I would guess and say no,
It's always best to Uninstall any beta products before downloading full versions.
Roll back to ie9 or what ever you had before then reset it.

I did this and this causes my Windows7 to no longer boot.

System restore fixed it and now I'm back with the preview IE10.

No sign of it here. Did you have IE10 RP installed?
FWIW I tried other possible download sites and saw no sign of it. Just IE10 RP.

@ Rob
Did you have WU doing automatic updates before or is IE trying to override our preferences?
FWIW I just checked. I now have Install updates automatically but at least it is saying it will give me "detailed notifications when new Microsoft software is available." Unfortunately, I cannot be certain if that is how I last set those options. At one point I was always using "Download but let me choose..." OTOH this may not be new because I have noticed before this an odd warning prompt which gives me 10 minutes to request a postponement of up to 4 hours (which can be repeated). If I get called away from my machine and forget about that I guess I have only myself to blame for not killing wuauserv?
Anyway, IE10 RTM arrived for me today courtesy of WU. Some things have been fixed. E.g. Feed reading view is working. And AutoScroll seems a bit more reliable. ; )

Just for the record I probably would not have downloaded ie10 until the end of this year when the final-final version is released just what I read,

There really isn't much of a difference that meets the eye ? tabs act a little different when closing kinda cool.

Multiple Certificates Same Webmail
Hi,
Is it possible to have a single webmail portal listen to 2 lots of domain names via ssl?
Example
webmail.companyA.com IP address 1.1.1.1
webmail.compnyB.com IP address 1.1.1.1
Can this be done without messing up IIS and Exchange 2010?
Thanks
Reply:
Hi
You cannot have multiple certificates on the same IP but you can get certificates that have multiple subject alternate names on them which would work. The other option is to have multiple IP addresses bound to the same network card on your server.

BMR Failing on all servers DPM 2010
My system state backups are failing on all 3 servers where I have the BMR option enabled. The system state works fine with BMR disabled on these same servers. The error being generated is coming from Windows Server backup and is as follows:
The backup operation attempted at '2011-09-22T20:02:53.144149800Z' has failed to start, error code '2147942405' (General access denied error). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.
Reply:
Hi,
Are those machines being protected using workgroup or non-trusted domain agent communications ? If so BMR is not supported as the domain machine account is required to access the share on the DPM server. SystemState writes to local protected server then tranferred to DPM server, DPMRA does that so it works. BMR is written directly to the DPM replica via a network share, and Windows backup running as system account needs access to that share. The error is "access denied" meaning windows backup cannot access the share to write the BMR backup on the replica.

OK - it's still some kind of permissions issue.
The DPM replica volume for BMR has only these permissions where machinename$ is the computer account of the PS.
Domain\machinename$:(F)
NT AUthority\System:(F)
DPM is not involved with this process except to start the backup, after that. It’s hands off until the backup completes, then we get the status of the backup and if successful, we make a snapshot on the DPM replica. If we get a non-successful status, we display the error in the failed job details and you need to look at the wbadmin event logs (Under Application and Service logs - Microsoft - Windows - backup - Operational) for details.
Using administrative command prompt on PS – you will get access denied is you try to backup to the DPM share.

If I use a command prompt logged in as the system administrator, I get the following response:
There is not enough free space on the back up storage location to backup the data.
Access is Denied.
It appears that I have two issue. One is that I have an access problem and the second, after the access is granted I still do not have enough disk space.
------------------------------------
Reply:
Hi,
OK - we need to figure out the access problem first. Is the DPMRA.EXE process running as local system account. It starts wbadmin.exe and it in turn starts wbengine.exe in the context of the dpmra account. If you start task manager, and check to make sure dpmra, wbadmin, and wbengine all start in system context after you kick off a BMR backup from dpm, then they should be able to access the DPM share same as you did when running in system account.
Correct, DPM has a tendancy to under estimate BMR replica volume size, and you will need to extend it to make room, or dpm will autogrow it for you.

DPMRA.exe, abadmin.exe and wbengine.exe are all running under the SYSTEM account on the protected server.
The share folder on the DPM server is located on the primary system volume that contains the OS which is not part of the storage pool. Is that the volume that requires the space to temporarily hold the BMR backups?
------------------------------------
Reply:
Hi,
The share is pointing to the relica volume that is hosted under a mountpoint on C: - no data is stored on the actual c: drive.
If you open a command prompt, and cd to c:\program files\Microsoft dpm\dpm\volume\replica\Non VSS Datasource writer
Then DIR - all those folder should be listed as <JUNCTION> - if any say <DIR> - then the mountpoint is broken and that may be your problem.

I agree, I'm scratching my head..... I assume you tried stopping protection and deleting the replica and reprotect BMR to see if that fixes it.
Just for a test, try adding one of the protected servers machine names to the administator group on DPM server.

I had BMR enabled upon initially installing DPM a year or so ago. When it did not work, I disabled it and removed the replica. I am now re-enabling it again for the first time.
I just tried adding the computer to the local administrators group on the DPM server. Unfortunately that group will not accept computers as members, only users, etc.
I don't know if this is relivant, but I want to mention that my DPM storage pool disk is located on an iSCSI drive.
------------------------------------
Reply:
Hi
The iSCSI dpm storage pool shoud not any problem. I'm out of ideas why Windows backup is getting access denied trying to write to the BMR share on the DPM server. You can try using process monitor http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645 and see if you can spot where the access denied is coming from while attempting a BMR backup.

I found the AD problem and corrected it but am thinking the rights for DPM at install time were all wrong.
Your thoughts please as I am still having these issues after having no issues with DPM for over a year. I do have DPM 2012 if that's a better long term solution.

Can't access my own files
I have files on a shared network drive. One particular folder has gone south on me and I can't access my own files on it. Actually, I can open them, but if I save them there, I can't open them again because I'm told I don't have authorization. If I right click in the folder (or any of its subfolders) in explorer and create a new Word file, as soon as I create it I get the "Access denied. Contact Administrator." error. Game over.
I also keep some Outlook email templates (.oft) in a subfolder here. When this started happening, Outlook wouldn't see any .oft file that I updated and resaved there. Now it won't see ANY of the .oft files.
It's important to note that this is only an issue with this one folder - and with this one computer. If I access through another computer, everything's fine. All of my permissions have been checked and rechecked and the computer scanned for any virus or malware issues. It's clean. But obviously there's something in there that's not right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me nuts!

Renaming the folder doesn't help but I had another user log in on the problem machine and she was able to save and manipulate files in the subject folder without any problems.
So I logged back in as me and - everything's fine! At least for the moment. When this first started happening is seemed like it was intermittent for a day or so, so I'm not going to mark this as solved yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will come back in a day or two. Thanks!
Why would another user logging in have an effect?

My problems are much greater, I am going on 4 days now of trying to get back control of my computer, I am new and signed up for web spark the day that azure had problems, I had downloaded visual studio ultimate to try and when I signed up for web spark they offer visual studio pro so I tried to remove what I could to change to pro and it seemed fine, then I signed into the plural .. offer and watched some tutorials and tried.... then another offer through web spark to see examples of web projects, that's where things went down hill fast.... the second site isn't just samples but I guess changes to their version of visual studio, it started showing a couple of warnings and then went crazy, took over and started moving files, locking files, partitioning, changing user accounts, ... I tried to save anything I could but had little chance... then I realized that it was connecting every way it could, changed my modem to open, added sharing everywhere, I disconnected modem and internet connection and didn't realize that it turned my usb adaptor into a connection from a cable company around the corner, ...it took me a while to even connect myself.... everything I do is being copied , erased or changed ---- the first emails I sent to msdn to try for help just went from outbox to another folder ... I have tried reinstalling windows with an old disk but it just reverts back to this setup.... I have managed to get into a guest account and trying to download anything I can to at least have some tools to work with...
I don't have the disk that came with my computer and windows is not a part of my membership, so I guess I have to download windows 8 trial .... not a happy camper as I just wanted to try out some new tools and design some web pages, all my files are pretty much gone... all of my personal and private information has been sent or copied .... now just trying to find anything that I can remove but don't have full access still.... well don't want to stay connected too long, just downloading some tools, please check your security and connections/sharing as it doesn't take long to lose access....

any antivirus or security measures I have tried don't really seem to matter....
I will try to resolve this update issue and read through what else but don't really seem to be getting anywhere, using netstat to watch as ports open one after the other it seems....

Interestingly there is a KB in the installer file names (KB2772429) but searching for that turns up empty!
Will have to install it in one of my VMs and see what the changes are.

Reply:
Yeah, he assured us that the KB was coming sometime soon.
Update: Spoke to Andreas again later last night - he expressed that this really is just a service pack, so don't expect a lot of new functionality - the real focus was on providing compatibility. Probably one thing which will interest people however is that System Center 2012 is now supported for the FIM reporting, whereas pre-SP1 you were limited to System Center 2010 SP1 (and indeed, the EULA actually said you weren't permitted to use 2012, not that it worked anyway). Anyway, I'm sure that will come in handy for some people.

I've got the packages from MSDN and had a quick go at updating my BHOLD lab but hit a stop with the new Access Management Connector (which replaces BFSS and BFPC). I just don't know how to configure it (Rob d J - you out there?). I'll update my blog if and when I get it working.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,<o:p></o:p>
I've got this up and running and it's great, a great improvement over BFSS and BFPC. Basically the new BHOLD installation removes the FIM intermediary databases so far as I can tell, and the new Access Management MA connects directly to the BHOLD tables for users, OU's and groups. Still seems to be limited capabilities for tying roles to OUs without the model generator (and even that doesn't seem to like tying ABA Roles to OU's for some reason.) A brief warning though, there are major changes to how BHOLD will accept the department value which it uses to tie users to OU's. It now requires the department to be a reference attribute to the OU otherwise you cannot tie the user to the OU.<o:p></o:p>
Overall, still playing around with it, seems a lot more integration between FIM and BHOLD than the previous release, the installers seem a lot more stable. I think it will take a bit more planning as it seems all the objects now tie together via references within FIM and BHOLD. It's also a lot quicker at exporting the resulting memberships for groups.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Let me know if I can help out in anyway, your blog certainly helped me with the previous version :)<o:p></o:p>
Thanks<o:p></o:p>

I tried to install the Reporting component. I have FIM 2010 R2 with SP1 and SCSM 2012. I get a error saying I have to install the KB2561430. This is apparently a hotfix for SCSM 2010 SP1. I thought that FIM R2 with SP1 supports SCSM 2012 as written:
FIM Reporting
- Support for Windows Server 2012 has been added.
- Support for SQL Server 2012 has been added.
- Support for SCSM 2012 has been added.

What on earth is going on here Microsoft? We're all siting ducks here.

Interesting... maybe that should read "Support for SCSM 2012 SP1 has been added."

Interestingly, I just tried to install the FIM R2 SP1 update in an environment running FIM 2010 (not R2), and got the message that the program to be upgraded may be missing. This is a bit odd, as the release notes specify:
The time it takes to upgrade from FIM 2010 to FIM 2010 R2 has been improved.
For example, for large scale synchronization service databases the amount of time to perform an update has been reduced from days to hours with FIM 2010 R2 SP1.
That can't be right.
I note the release notes specify the installation order to be:
- Uninstall FIM Portal
- Uninstall SharePoint or WSS
- Install SharePoint Foundation 2013
- Install FIM 2010 R2 SP1 Portal
- Install FIM 2010 R2 SP1 Language Packs (optional)
But... then why do they release a patch?
Edit: Never mind, "To apply this update, you must have Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 build 4.1.2273.0 or a later build installed." from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2772429?wa=wsignin1.0 - will have to see if I can upgrade using the R2 Sp1 full install media

Lync 2010 Multi-tenant Control Panel
Hello,
I have installed a multi-tenant deployment of Lync server, it is working fine, buit the control panel does not display any users ?
Any thoughts ?
Regards
Amr
Reply:
Hi Amr,
This is by design for the multi-tenant version. You must use the cmdlets that have been updated as part of the Hosting Pack media for all user management.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your reply, i just wanted to make sure that i'm on the right track and there is nothing wrong with my implementation as i have already seen a MT deployment of Lync and the users where appearing in the control panel, so whose installaiton got something wrong ?
------------------------------------
Reply:
The MT documentation describes the behaviour you see. This is correct! I would suggest that the other implementations have missed some steps. For example not having set certain user attributes or not having run Lync updates could both result in users being visible in certain circumstanced, as certain cmdlets get updated for MT functionality.

LYNC 2013 Mediation Server
Hi,
I'm Migrating from Lync 2010 to 2013.
I have done all the migration stuff & about to decommission.
But Still my Mediation is in 2010 and it is in a separate server. (not in Lync 2010 FE )
I want to co- locate the mediation in to the LYNC 2013 FE server (not separate)
What is the best way of doing it ?
Thanks
Irshard Zahir
Reply:
If your Lync 2013 FE has NOT been deployed, you will get the opportunity to configure a collocated Mediation server during the creation of the FE pool.
If your Lync 2013 FE has ALREADY been deployed, you will just need to go into Topology Builder, enable the services (Dial-in Conferencing, Enterprise Voice) on the FE pool and select the box "Collocated Mediation Server enabled." Then publish the topology, wait for replication, and run the "Enable-CsComputer" command on each FE in the pool to install and configure the new collocated Mediation server.
Once those steps are completed, the 2010 and 2013 Mediation servers will be aware of each other and route traffic as needed. You can then start migrating any IP gateways from the 2010 Mediation Server to the 2013 Mediation Server by creating the relevant trunks in the Topology and making configuration changes on the IP gateways to talk to the 2013 Mediation Server directly.

How do you like that 'merged forums' ?
Not a technical question, but I am curious if you like that new merged forum here.
To be open: I don't
I know that in the past sometimes questions were asked in the wrong 'sub forum' but I liked the seperation into Management / Server / Client / Sequencer and so on. I'd even go further with that and prefer to have dedicated sub-forums for version 4 and version 5 questions.
Yes, it would increase the amount of (sub) forums, and yes, it also would increase the amount of questions asked in the wrong place. But I personally find it easier to check-out a list of 10 sub-forums, each having a handfull of new threads a day compared to checking out one single forum, having 50 threads a day.
What do you think?
PS: I admit my opinion might be cause by the fact that some Germans tend to find a 'drawer' for everything ;-)

I don't like it either, as you wrote the subsections were really usefull as they were, not the new style with no subsections and everything on one page.
I visited the forum yesterday and was somewhat shocked. I hadn't visited the forums for quite a while (shame) and found out that they had merged: I didn't know it was only recently that this had changed, allthough I never saw a post about it.
The recipes have their own page, that is nice but it would be a lot better to have more pages instead of just 2 for App-V.

I'm really not a fan. I thoroughly enjoyed the way it was set up previously. As more of an infrastructure guy, it was great to be able to basically gloss over almost all the recipe threads or the "how do I package XYZ?" requests, leaving that to my packagers. Now I have to wade through them to find any useful nuggets elsewhere :(

Of course there are currently no moderators for this forum outside of Microsoft, so it's inevitable that this will fill up with junk.
Aaron,
This was not intentional and permissions should now be restored the same as they were before the merge. Please let me know if you have any problems.

Exchange 2010 cannot login OWA/OA with UPN (TMG publishing)
I have a domainX and I have a domainY
Exchange is member of domainX and TMG is member of domainY
There is a outgoing forest trust between domainY and domainX (domainY trusts domainX)
Publishing OWA/OA is ok and I can login with domainX\username
Now I changed the UPN of testuser (in domainX) to testuser@external.com BUT I cannot login OWA/OA with this new UPN username@external.com
I made sure the new UPN matches the e-mail address of the testuser (so its also testuser@external.com)
Reading: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc779566(WS.10).aspx we use an implicit upn with forest trust (one way outgoing) so it should work.

You missing some steps as i read your post.
Make sure to follow these steps outlined below:
- add the UPN suffix "@external.com" in domainX , this is done with AD Domain & Trusts
- make sure the trust between domainX and domainY is a forest trust, it cannot be an external trust
- enable "name suffix routing" for the new UPN suffix @external.com , this is also done in the AD Domains & Trusts

Database Management for the ILM Synchronization backend database
The purpose of this article is to provide information to assist in making a strategic plan to maintain the backend MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer SQL database.
The articles focuses on providing key factors to review when making a database maintenance plan, as well as providing some good practices to follow in your environment.
As you know, the backend is a Microsoft SQL Server database.
Since each ILM configuration is different within each company, there is no documentation pertaining to
- How often to re-index the tables
- When to re-index the tables
- When to backup the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database
These business rules need to be set from within the company based on their business needs.
Key Factors
Here are the key factors that you can utilize when attempting to make these decisions:
- Execution of Run Profiles: How often are you doing imports, synchronizations, and exports? This is important, because for each run you are adding a record to the run history.
- Size of Run History: You can determine this by looking in the lower right while viewing the operations tab. A good recommendation is to keep this as small as possible. Something in the hundreds.
- Number of Management Agents: This matters because it can increase the number of records going into the run history for each execution. For example, if you have three management agents, then for each import you will have three records, for each synchronization you will have three records, for each export you will have three records, for each confirming import you will have three records. So for each cycle with three management agents, you could be looking at twelve records in the run history. Then if you run it twice a day, it will become 24 records a day.
- Backing Up: How much data are you willing to lose?
Good Practices
In this section, you find a list of good practices for maintaining a healthy MIIS database.
Affected areas are:
- Clear Run History
- Backing up back-end data
- Re-Building Table Indexes
- Updating Statistics
- Autogrow
- Shrink Database
- Database Files
Clear Run History
You will see a performance decrease the larger the run history table is.
Therefore, it is a good practice to implement a process that clears the run history on a nightly basis.
You can automate this task by using the command-line tool MIISClearRunHistory provided in the MIIS 2003 Resource Kit.
In addition to this, you can also find a related script in the ILM ScriptBox.
Backing up back-end data
A good practice for the backe-end data is to do a nightly backup of the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database.
This will assist in recovering data in case of a data disaster.
You can find a good overview about the different type of SQL Server backups and the process of building a good backup – restore strategy in Backing Up and Restoring Databases.
If the database is in "Full Recovery" model, one backup strategy is to do a Full backup once a week, and do daily transaction log backups.
Depending on the size of the transaction logs and available disk space more than one transaction log should be done each day.
Another option is to do a Full backup, Differential backup and transaction log backups to allow even quicker data recovery.
Here are some good resources for Backing up and Restoring Databases in SQL Server:
- SQL 2000 - SQL Server 2000 Backup and Restore
- SQL 2005 - Backing Up and Restoring Databases in SQL Server
- SQL 2008 - Backing Up and Restoring Databases in SQL Server
Re-Building Table Indexes
A good practice from a SQL Server stand-point, is to do weekly re-build of indexes or if the indexes are more than 30% fragmented.
You can utilize SQL Server commands like DBCC ShowContig or DBCC Show_Statistics to see how the indexes look.
I would recommend reviewing the information in the MSDN articles to understand what you are seeing when you run these commands.
In a new Query window in Query Analyzer, you would execute the DBCC DBREINDEX.
You will need to do that for each table in the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database.
DBCC SHOWCONTIG and DBCC SHOW_STATISTICS are two different commands and report different information:
- DBCC SHOWCONTIG is to look at fragmentation of indexes and data (also being removed from the product in the future and sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats should be used instead in SQL 2005 and higher).
- DBCC SHOW_STATISTICS is great for showing current statistics for an index.
You can find more details on this in the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Index Defragmentation Best Practices.
Updating Statistics
Statistics are the most important component for the Query optimizer to make the best execution plan.
Without good statistics data will likely not be returned in the quickest duration.
Here is a link on statistics and the optimizer:
- SQL 2000 - Statistics Used by the Query Optimizer in Microsoft SQL Server 2000
- SQL 2005 - Statistics Used by the Query Optimizer in Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- SQL 2008 - Statistics Used by the Query Optimizer in Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Statistical Information
- Index Statistics (2005)
Updating Statistics is a good practice to get into on a nightly basis.
You can find more details about this topic in Update Statistics.
Autogrow
It is a good practice to set the autogrow to MB rather than 10%. An example would be something like 100MB.
Shrink Database
You really only need to do this in the case of emergencies.
Database Files
In a SQL Server database there are three files related database files:
- The MDF file
- The LDF file
- The TempDB file
It is a good practice to place these files on separate drive partitions.
Hypothetical Database Maintenance Plan
Building a database maintenance plan is something that needs to be done within the company's business rules.
I have outlined below a hypothetical database maintenance plan for the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database.
The outline provides a snapshot of what a maintenance plan looks like, and gives you a guide to base your database maintenance plan.
- Daily after your runs for the day:
- Clear Run History
- Update Statistics
- Differential Database Backup
- DBCC ShowContig
- Transaction Log backups need to be run multiple times a day
- Weekly
- Rebuild Indexes
- Full Database Backup
Distaster Recovery Scenario
A few months ago I as working with a customer who had not done any type of maintenance on the backend MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer SQL database.
In light of this, we found ourselves in a crisis and had to come up with a recovery process.
We were able to put together valuable information that assisted in resolving the customer's issue.
As a result, I have compiled a list of steps we used to help get through the crisis.
- Delete the connector space
- Backup the Management Agent first
- Click Management Agents
- Select the Management Agent in question
- From the Actions menu select Export Management Agent
- Save it to an easy to remember location and name it accordingly
- From the Actions menu select Delete
- You will receive a dialog with two radio buttons
- Choose the top Radio Button "Delete Connector Space Only"
- Click OK
- Backup the Management Agent first
- Re-Index the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer Tables
- In a new Query window in Query Analyzer, you would execute the DBCC DBREINDEX
- DBCC DBREINDEX
- You will need to do that for each table in the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database
- Full Import
- Full Synchronization

You can find a collection of tips, tricks, and advices from the SQL Server Query Optimization Team in the related blog.

Hi
It might be a corrupt image so you might want to download again and try with a new iso.
Have you run through the pre-requisites:
- Server Operating System: must be Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 Core Installation.
Plus SQL Server if you are installing the databases on the same box.
Is this a test environment or production?
How many servers do you want to monitor? How many network devices? Are all the servers in one AD Forest?

School Migration from MISS/ILM to FIM (live@edu to office 365) Help and advice needed
Hi everyone
Im currently working within a school, and one of the things that has been t brought to our attention is the change from live@edu to office 365. we previously had a company in who did our original installation around a year ago of live@edu which was before i actually started working with the school. Recently the same company told us that office 365 would require some changes on our end such as small server upgrades to run the new tools and of course FIM to manage the sync between the our domain and office 365. After a long talk about the changes need and how they would do so they deciede to tell us the price tag on the work which was a little under £15000 for around 2 days work migrating the system over and make sure it worked.
Now im not an expert but for a medium sized school I cant even consider paying this ammount to migrate. So heres my question, how much work is actually involved in migrating from live@edu to office 365 and ensuring this works. I believe i can take a few options some of the main variables of these seem to be weather i want to keep users and what they have stored on things like outlook and skydrive, or weather im willing to loose all that and begin afresh. And the more i think about it, starting afresh always sounds nice.
Weve been speaking to other companies who tell us they can half this cost but the constant thought is in my mind of why cant i do the migration myself. I feel like im being backed into a corner with migrating and im not actually sure what information im getting from the numerous people im speaking to is right.
Id just like to talk a few others who may have been in a similar situation, or have anyone who can offer advice or maybe share a resource which will help me in performing the upgrades needed myself.
Thanks
