SharePoint designer is not good as it fails in sending mails dynamically. But if u want mails to go statically( I mean u r providing the email addresses at design time not at run time) then u can use SharePoint Designer. It will be easier for your mentioned requirements.

You have to set de LIFETIME value
Check this link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/es-es/library/ms187377(SQL.90).aspx
if you don't put a LIFETIME value at the BEGIN DIALOG CONVERSATION it will be by default the max integer value what means 68+ years before.... thas why the lifetime you got is in 2074....

I personally use TechSmith's camtasia software for this. I have a dual monitor display. I setup the MSTSC session or RSAT tool on the second monitor and use camtasia to record my work on that monitor.
Recently constructed videos in the last few days include the following (so you can see output quality):
Intro to Server Manager
http://tfc.wanderson.org/Intro_to_Server_Manager/Intro_to_Server_Manager.htm
Intro to HyperV Role Pane
http://tfc.wanderson.org/Intro_to_HyperV_Role_Display/Intro_to_HyperV_Role_Display.htm
(I am building a video series of blogs that starts with level 100 intro content like this and will eventually go through all of the Hyper-V interface in 5-7 minute chunks concentrating on using particular features.)

HyperV with Quadcore?
I have a server with 2 Quadcores and Windows 2008EE. In the configuration of the VMs I can only give them as much 4cores and not 6 or 8, although that is excessive. It can perform in any way?, Or HyperV that is not designed to accommodate 8 cores.
Thank you.

Prime Quadcore -> 1 core to a VM, 2 cores to another VM
Second Quacore -> 1 core to a VM, 2 cores to another VM

That will work. It's important to understand there isn't any processor affinity. You aren't assigning the cores from a specific processor to a specific vm.
You have 8 cores total. You could, for example, assign 4 cores to each of 4 virtual machines. In this example, you have 16 cores allocated to virtual machines. That means you'd be sharing cores among virtual machines.
------------------------------------
Reply:
1) if you have an application that REALLY needs more than 4 cpu cores to function effectively, it is most likely NOT a candiddate for running in a virtual environment.
2) when allocating cores to VM's, you really should be asking yourself if the intended application needs that much cpu capacity.. Do the apps that VM will be running have good enough thread management to take advantage of any more than a single processor? Or will they generate the kind of processor loading that justifies running them on a multi-processor system?
For example if I'm creating a machine to run things like DHCP+DNS it isn't likely to need any more than a single processor core, and for that mattter minimal ram.

I am having the exact same issue (same laptop too). Did you ever get a solution to your issue? I was hoping for a solution that saved the data on the drive.
Anyone else reading this, please let me know if you have had any luck fixing this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I dont know what the exact issue was, but I pulled out the drive and plugged it into my PC (via sata to usb cable) and ran a full scandisk on it. After that ran, nothing seemed to change, so I reinstalled it in the laptop. After a little research, I came across a util called "Vista Recovery Tool". I burned that and booted the laptop with it. At first it didnt seem to do anything but beep incessantly. After two attempts, I let it go to the Error screen again and chose to boot windows normally - it booted?!!? I rebooted the laptop a few times and it booted successfully each time.
You said you got another laptop but in the unlikely event it ever happened again, some food for thought.
PS - I have learned that Best Buy (at least the one near me) doesnt exactly employ competent techs for their "Geek Squad". They ARE geeks, but not so technical...

DMP 2007 Problem
I have an Identical Server (server2) that I am trying to setup as an offsite backup server...however I cant get it to protect the other DPM server (server1)...
The agent installed fine...but when I go to create a protection group I click the + sign to expand the server(server1) It sits there with an hour glass for a couple minutes and the gives this error:
DPM cannot browse backupsrv.domain.com because the agent is not responding.
If you just installed an agent on backupsrv.domain.com, the computer might be restarting. Wait a few minutes after Windows starts for the agent to become available. Otherwise, troubleshoot the problem as follows:
1) Check recent records from the DPMRA source in the Application Event Log on backupsrv.domain.com to find out why the agent failed to respond.
2) Make sure that the DPM server is remotely accessible from backupsrv.domain.com.
3) If a firewall is enabled on the DPM server, make sure that it is not blocking requests from backupsrv.bradford-co-fla.org.
4) Restart the DPM Protection Agent service on backupsrv.domain.com if the service fails to start, re-install the protection agent.
ID: 33
Details: Internal error code: 0x8099090E
What could be the problem?
When the Mushroom Kingdom attacks Windows server 2008...
Obviously MS meant Browser, but c'mon now talk about beta code. Don't even get me started on the number of "Click here for more information links" in 2008 event viewer that lead to the default We're sorry, There is no additional information about this issue in the error and event log messages or knowledge base databases at this time.
Content Path not being set correctly
Hi,
I have noticed this strange behavior on couple of my server today. Thought worth Posting. I am using build 1305 and have to change teh content path. I have changed it using SYSTEM Options. However, I have noticed, that this change is not reflected in Registry.
I have to manually go the registry and change the SOFTGRID_CONTENT_DIR. Not sure if a restart is required after changing the contant Path.
Thanks.
Reply:
Hi,
They are not the same value. The value in the SYSTEM Options is the path given to clients for OSDs and ICOs while SOFTGRID_CONTENT_DIR is the path used by an App-V Management Server or Streaming Server to stream package content.
------------------------------------
Reply:
Thanks BoruRR, Still all my OSD and ICO are the same location which is provided to the clients and even SFT is at the same dir as well.
So, they are same. Is there any other location where I can change the SOFTGRID CONTENT DIR from GUI?
I am trying to understand, if there are any advantages by keeping ICO's and OSDs separated from SFT and stream from different location?
Thanks
------------------------------------
Reply:
The only case I have heard for separating OSDs from SFTs is to restrict access to the SFTs VAS service.
------------------------------------
Thanks for this solution
I wish to thank the person who provided me the information I needed. It was clear and concise. Right to the point. I was web searching for "drivers" for my Pioneer DVD burner for what seemed to be forever. The onsceen message I was getting for a driver being needed for my optic drive was so misleading. Thank you very much.
